From Pattern Piece #3, cut one piece of batting. I have found that placing the pattern piece over the batting and marking small dots around the edge of the pattern with a permanent, fine-line marking pen, makes it easier to cut out the batting. Make sure to cut the dots completely off when you cut out the batting.
