If a participant finishes a block early, it is encouraged that they send it on to the next person in the rotation. Blocks should be finished and sent, however, no later than the first of the month after receiving the block from the previous participant. The end of the Round Robin will be when each person's pieced block reaches them at the end of the sending rotation. To determine how much to embellish: Divide the number of seams and spaces on each block by the total number of participants, and use that as a guide for the number of seams and spaces that you should embellish. It is a "rule of thumb" that each participant would embellish at least one seam and at least one space. Some blocks may have more seams and spaces than others, depending on the design for that block. so that other participants may write messages and include notes about thier work. The booklet should contain an introduction by the participant explaining the theme for their block, wants and don't wants, and any other pertinent information (for example, some people are highly allegic to wool, and prefer not to have any wool threads). | |||||||||||||||||||||
