The Silk Ribbon Embroidery Mailing List was created
in June 1998, by Maryanne Croome, to provide
a place for silk ribbon embroidery enthusiasts
at all skill levels to share information and experiences.
The list is currently composed of over
1000 students, professionals, authors, teachers,
and vendors of beads, books, ribbons and other
silk ribbon embroidery supplies.
Our list members live in all parts of the world,
some enjoying silk ribbon embroidery in its "pure" form,
and some exploring silk ribbon embroidery by machine
and/or combined with other needlearts, such as Brazilian
Embroidery,Cross-Stitch, Crazy Quilting, and Hardanger
among others.
In addition to a wide diversity in style,
our list enjoys regular activities such as drawings
for free items, swaps, contests, and great prices
on supplies from our Vendor Members.
